Children and Young People

We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults.

Children are valued and helped to feel that this is a place where they are loved and accepted. We hope they will catch our enthusiasm for worship and enjoy being in church. Those who are growing in their faith have the opportunity to become junior church members and to use their gifts within the life of the church.

We take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children and young people entrusted to our care.

We give priority to the resourcing and training of leaders. All our children’s and youth leaders have undergone the national DBS enhanced disclosure process.

Our aims:
We aim to provide a place of acceptance and encouragement where children can have fun and learn about the Christian faith in a secure and welcoming environment.

We aim to offer a wide range of exciting activities including lively worship, games, drama, interactive bible stories, quizzes, crafts, and much more.

Acorns for Parents and Toddlers

We meet in the large hall on Mondays from 9.30am-11am  during term time – we provide plenty of toys for the children to play whilst the parents enjoy a chat.  Refreshments are provided and we also provide a quiet and safe place for mothers who wish to breast feed their babies.

Kids4Jesus

Children are invited to go out for their own teaching and activities to during the 10am service.
